Remington youth model 870, 20 ga, synthetic stock, 21" barrel.
This is a lightly used Remington youth Model 870 pump action shotgun in 20 gauge. I bought this at Scheels to teach my grandkids how to shoot, and they've both now grown out of it. It was used for a few mornings at the range and probably 10 days of pheasant hunting all together, so there hasn't been many rounds through it. The shotgun is a 20 gauge, and comes with the adjustable length-of-pull kit installed, along with a modified choke. It has a synthetic stock and forearm. Also included is the original owners manual, a cable lock, and a choke wrench. There are a few light scratches on the receiver, but nothing that doesn't come with a bit of use at the range and in the field. This gun is good looking, fully functioning, and was cleaned after every outing. This gun has a ventilated rib, and shoots both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. It uses Rem chokes, which are readily available should you want to change to something other than modified. There are sling studs on the magazine cap and stock, and the gun weighs about 6.5 pounds.
Like all Model 870 shotguns this workhorse features a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel for maximum strength and reliability. The smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so that you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot. Its solid dependable action makes it America's favorite - the Model 870 has been the standard for slide-action performance for more than 60 years.
