Great Plains Planter YP 4025A Twin Row 20" planter for sale. I am selling my 40' 48 row planter on 8,12" spacing. So basically there is a 8" gap between where the seed comes out of the tube and a 12" gap between the rows. This planter has seeded corn, soybeans, wheat, canola and peas. Tons of work was done to the planter two winters ago. We replaced discs and gauge wheels. Added the canola kit to it so we changed seed tubes and brushes as they are copper infused to help combat static electricity. We converted it from a 3 point hitch to a draw bar. Added a rear hitch to pull a liquid fertilizer cart, I pulled at 3700 gallon liquid caddy. When we ran the plumbing for the hydraulics to the caddy we used a 1" return line so you could run twin pumps if you wish. I had a PWM pump for product and the other pump I used as a recirculation pump. It still has the plumbing to run liquid fertilizer if you have saddle tanks on the tractor. Replaced the 82 bushel hopper with a 150 bushel hopper. For seed plates I have multiple sized corn plates, multiple soybean plates, milo plates, dry edible beans plates, volumetric plates I used for wheat, 150 and 250 cell canola plates for different size canola seed. For singulating peas I used the 84 cell soybean plates so I could singulate the peas.

The draw bar conversion kit was $7500. Liquid hitch was $2500. 150 bu hopper was $7k. New gauge wheels today are about $8350. New discs today are around $3900. Canola conversion kit is $4000. Trucking from Nebraska was about $8000, it was more expensive as they needed pilot cars South Dakota.

The planter has 48 rows and there are row clutches that run every two rows for turning seed on and off. It has Intelli Ag blockage on every row. I ran mine through ISOBUS. I have the electronics for section control for the liquid fertilizer but we were not able to get it put on before seeding this season, so still in the box. It has 4 different sections for liquid fertilizer control. Running a PWM pump was really nice so you could just adjust your rate from the cab. Planter has keeton seed firmers and high flotation tires. I pulled the planter and caddy with a 530 Quadtrac but a neighbor of mine pulls his with a 300hp tractor. The planter is super light on tongue weight so you do not need a drawbar reinforcement kit. Only the planter is for sale as I will be keeping the caddy. If need be I could get it to Gooseneck Implement in Kenmare if a loading dock is required. I have quite a few spare parts, too many to list so if you have any questions please call or text Tyler at seven zero one-214-1577 with any questions. Thank you
