LONGABERGER LINED BASKET

This small basket is lined so it can be used for a variety of small items like change and keys. It is square and measures 5 1/2." A multi-colored green and rust band runs through the weaving. The top is slanted for ease of reaching into the basket.

Longaberger baskets are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. On the bottom of the basket you will find the Longaberger name, the weaver's initials, and the year the basket was woven.

Material Selection: Each basket begins with locally sourced hardwood maple, carefully chosen for its strength and beauty.

Wood Preparation: Strips of maple wood are milled, soaked, and aged to achieve a warm honey hue before weaving.

Weaving Process: Longabergers weavers undergo extensive training to master their craft. Weaving a single basket can take up to eight hours, while larger or intricate designs may require several days.
