BLADDER SNAILS - 25 CENTS EACH OR 10 FOR $2 (MANY AVAILABLE!!)
Bladder snails can live in most freshwater aquariums. They are good if you need something to clean up your fish's leftovers, have fish that eat snails, or if you just want an extra thing to watch in your tank!
How to grow your population: Feed a lot. The population will grow steadily if there is a lot of food. These little guys can eat a lot, like tropical fish flakes and pellets, blanched, boiled, or sliced veggies (cucumber, broccoli, peas), most aquarium plants, algae and algae wafers, and frozen fish food (insect large, brine shrimp).
How to limit your population: Be careful not to overfeed. Excess food drives snails to breed wildly, and you'll end up with a lot more than you bargained for.
